Jr NTR Returns To India Post His Holiday In Japan, Says 'Deeply Shocked By The Earthquakes'
Amid earthquakes, actor Jr NTR who was holidaying in Japan for a week took to X that he was back home and deeply shocked by the earthquakes in Japan.
Japan has been hit by over 155 earthquakes since Monday whose magnitude has been reported to be as violent as 7.6 and another over 6. The strong jolts triggered tsunami waves over a metre high causing destruction beyond our wildest dreams by also sparking a major fire.

Amid this, actor Jr NTR who was holidaying in Japan for a week took to X that he was back home and deeply shocked by the earthquakes in Japan.
The actor reportedly spent the last week in Japan.
He said that he was deeply shocked by what had happened.
"Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan," he wrote.
Meanwhile, eight people have died in Wajima city. Seven others have been seriously injured. Damage to homes was so great that it could not immediately be assessed, the officials said.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in a disaster response meeting said, "Very extensive damage has been confirmed, including numerous casualties, building collapses and fires. We have to race against time to search for and rescue victims of the disaster."
The Japan PM Office further asked the officials to act in close coordination with local governments and under the principle of prioritizing human life above all else. "Spare no effort in our emergency disaster responses, including saving lives and rescuing disaster victims, with the Government working as one,¡± it added.

Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Japan has set up an emergency room for anyone to contact in connection with the earthquake and tsunami warnings on January 1. It has issued emergency contact numbers for Indian citizens after a strong earthquake and tsunami warnings in Japan.
In a statement shared on X, the Indian Embassy in Japan stated, "Embassy has set up an emergency control room for anyone to contact in connection with the Earthquake and Tsunami on January 1, 2024. The following Emergency numbers and email IDs may be contacted for any assistance."
Buildings crumbled, fires broke out, and tsunami warnings were sent as far away as eastern Russia, following the earthquake, whereas people in Japan¡¯s coastal areas were ordered to evacuate.
