Recalling the Badshah of Bollywood's initial struggle in Bollywood, Chawla during an event by
Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry revealed his car was once taken away after he failed to pay the EMI. He said, "I remember Shah Rukh those days didn't have a home in Mumbai. So he used to come from Delhi (his hometown). I don't know where he stayed. He used to have tea with the unit (the film crew), eat with the unit, and blended in the unit seamlessly. He also did 2-3 shifts then. He was doing Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992) with me, Dil Aashna Hai (1992), and another film with Divya (Bharti, Deewana, 1992). He was very driven."

Juhi has finally revealed who inspired Shah Rukh Khan's iconic dialogue from Darr. "Maine yeh notice nahin kiya tha (I hadn't noticed it), but Shah Rukh was observant. Yash ji thoda haklate the aur Shah Rukh ne bataya ki unhone woh wahan se pick kiya tha (Shah Rukh once revealed that he picked up K-K-K-Kiran from director Yash Chopra, who used to stammer a little). He said, ¡®I am going to use it in the film¡¯ and wahan se unhone woh shuru kiya (he started it from there), and thank God for that," she was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
How Shah Rukh Khan perfected the stammering
In Netflix's recent docu-series The Romantics, SRK had revealed, "I had a classmate who had a stammer and then we did some little study, some BBC documentary where they talked about that people's minds become aware to one sound, and it's like a sharp current. So, you can't say the word because you become aware of a sound. Let's make him aware of the woman he loves the most, her name. So, I only stammer on the word Kiran. It was just for that one word because he's so aware of her."

He added, "I had some really fantastically stupid ideas, like I remember once going to Adi and saying, can I make this phone call hanging upside down? Adi said 'Dad won't allow that.' Sometimes he would come and tell me that listen I think dad is not going to take a close up of this. I think you did very well. So, you suggest, if I do it, he'll turn me down. So, we were like the filters who kind of help each other with Yash Ji."
Rocky patch in SRK and Juhi's friendship
Shah Rukh who has worked with Juhi in films like Darr, Ram Jaane, Yes Boss, Duplicate, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and One 2 Ka 4 among others, started his production company Red Chillies Entertainment with the actress' brother Bobby. After losing her parents, she leaned completely on her brother who tragically slipped into coma and passed away years later. Khan during the promotion of his film Ra One paid a heartfelt tribute to Bobby by dedicating the film's music to him. "I want to dedicate this album to Yash Johar ji and Bobby. When we started our company Red Chillies Entertainment the one who helped me start it was Bobby and the one who gave me so much love, was Yash Joharji. So this is for them."

However, Juhi wasn't happy with this. "I¡¯ve mixed feelings about Shah Rukh¡¯s statement at the RA.One music release. Bobby was very much involved in the recordings of the Akon number in the film. And then he met with the mishap. I'm happy that Shah Rukh remembers Bobby and acknowledges his contribution to Red Chillies. But it saddens me that this acknowledgement comes so late in the day. Why do we wait for tragedy to strike to tell someone how special they are, or how special they were?" she was quoted as saying.
