Jungle Book's Mowgli - Neel Sethi Is In India & He's Looking Forward To Gorging On 'Golgappas'!

'The Jungle Book' is definitely one of the most awaited releases of the year and why not? After watching the trailer, we too have not been able to contain our excitement.
Remember we told you about Neel Sethi? The 12 YO kid who is the only human being in Jon Favreau¡¯s upcoming jungle book? Long ago, Neel had revealed that he had to go through an extensive audition procedure before Disney roped him in.
He was chosen from thousands of children who originally auditioned for the role of Mowgli, a little boy of the jungle. Directed by Jon Favreau, "The Jungle Book" is definitely one of our favorite childhood stories! The story of an orphan boy 'Mowgli' who is raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther.
Jungle book¡¯s 'Mowgli' AKA Neel Sethi is in India and in his recent media interaction, the kid revealed that he loves India and especially 'Golgappas' (Pani-Puri).
Describing his love for India and ¡®golgappas¡¯, Neel said:
"I have come to India before as my grandparents are here. I love India because this is my home. This is so different from usual New York from where I come. It's so different and cool," he said. One special fondness that the 12-year-old-actor has of India is eating Golgappas (Pani-Puri). "...Golgappas (Pani-Puri) I can have 27 in one go. I tried to beat my sister but that did not happen."
Neel revealed that he finds Indian movies very 'cool and different' & he loves watching them. After the first look and trailer of "The Jungle Book" was out, Neel is enjoying a different level of stardom altogether.
When he was asked if he gets a 'special treatment' at home, the kid chuckled and said:
"Not at all, not one bit. My sister still beats me to the ground."
Neel also revealed that Balu is his favorite character. He added:
"'Balu the Bear' is my favourite character because he is so full of spirit. He cares but he doesn't want to worry that much, he is very happy and calm."
Describing the experience of shooting the film as 'cool and different', Neel said:
"It was so cool and different. I have never done this before so I think this is normal and really nice. I just went along with it (the flow) because I didn't know what to do. I just followed Jon (Jon Favreau)."
The Jungle Book is all set to release in India on April 8.
