Kangana Ranaut Defends Elon Musk As Twitter Freezes Kanye West¡¯s Account Over Anti-Semitic Tweet
Actress Kangana Ranaut has come out to defend Elon Musk after Twitter locked Kanye West¡¯s account over antisemitic tweet.
Kangana Ranaut, who dares to speak her mind when it comes to topics of national interest has once again voiced her opinion over a controversy. But this time, the Manikarnika actress has leveled up her game as she has come out to defend the big tech guy Elon Musk.
Kangana, who was banned on Twitter, took to her Instagram account to claim that Elon Musk was being targeted by ¡®woke¡¯ people and that they have launched a ¡®massive 'hate campaign' against the CEO of Tesla.
Elon, who holds a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter worth $3 billion, was one of the first to respond to Kanye¡¯s tweet. The SpaceX owner was criticized by a section of internet users on social media for his stance.
According to CNN, Elon Mush recently welcomed back American rapper Kanye West on Twitter. Kanye aka Ye's account has been locked by the micro-blogging site over an antisemitic tweet he had posted via his account on Saturday.
Now, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut defending Elon has stated that liberals are targeting him as they cannot stand anyone who is 'self-made, fiery, intelligent and above all sane.'
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut shared a post by Vanity Fair. The post referred to a recent article with the headline 'Get ready for Elon Musk to turn Twitter into a right-wing cesspool.¡¯
"Elon is woke¡¯s new target. They can¡¯t stand anyone, who can think for him or herself, basically, who is self-made, fiery, intelligent and above all sane¡ To get woke¡¯s sympathy one has to be dimwit, powerless and incompetent¡ liberals/ wokes have such role models¡ they have started massive hate campaign against Elon," Kangana Ranaut wrote along with the post.
On the work front, Kangana is busy working on her upcoming movie Emergency in which she plays the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie is being directed and produced by actress Kangana herself.
Actors like Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhry are also a part of the film and will be seen playing crucial roles among others. Kangana Ranaut was recently seen in Dhakaad alongside Arjun Rampal. However, the film was a disaster at the box office.
Meanwhile, Emergency is slated to hit the theatre screens in 2023.
