Kangana Ranaut has never minced her words while sharing opinions on issues that matter to the public. Not just that, she has also never shied away from voicing her support for Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This has often led to people wondering if she has plans of taking the political plunge.
Kangana, who once said that she wouldn't marry or have kids if she decided to take a political plunge, has now said that the time is right for her to join politics.
Kangana Ranaut Says The Time Is Right For Her To Join Politics
The actress who will next be seen playing the role of Indira Gandhi in Emergency made the confession in an interview with TV9 Bharatvarsh. "I have literally fought from film sets with political parties. That doesn't keep me away, it doesn't take me a seat to do what I want to do for my country. But, if I want to get into politics, I probably think this is the right time," she said.
Calling herself a nationalist before an actor, she added, "This country has given me so much, I feel deeply responsible to give back. I have always been more of a nationalist and that image has taken over even my very glorious acting career. I do have the awareness that I am deeply loved and appreciated."

Kangana who thinks she is the hottest target in the country, had earlier said that she is willing to contest 2024 elections.
"Jis tarah ke haalat honge, government chahegi mera participation ho, vo I will be very much open to all kinds of participation," she said in a conversation with Aaj Tak. "As I said, it would be great if people in Himachal Pradesh would give me a chance to serve. So, definitely, it will be sobhagya ki baat."
Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had said that she won't marry or have kids if at she decides to enter the world of politics.
"If I have to be a national servant, I can¡¯t have a family or kids, or an alternate career. A politician should be nothing more than a government servant." At the same time, she said that politics isn't her cup of tea, but she says if the country ever needs her, she would willing to "lay her life¡ leave alone joining politics."
