'It Is Not My Type Of Cinema', Kantara Fame Kishore On Why He Hasn't Watched Yash's KGF 2

KGF 2 took over the cinema business with a hike last year and became a waving feather in actor Yash's hat. Kishore who was himself a part of year's another blockbuster Kantara recalls having not watched KGF 2. For the unversed, both Kantara and KGF 2 were produced by The Homable Films itself.

Quoting that he's not a fan of storytelling like KGF, Kishore reveals to better watch small films that are serious, not mindless.

He told India Today, ¡°I don't know If is right or wrong but I haven't watched KGF 2. It is not my type of cinema. It is a personal choice. I would rather watch a small film that is not successful but deals with something serious than something that is mindless.¡± Homable Films, on the other hand, has announced a massive investment in showbiz in the new year.

A part of their note read, "As we embark into the new year, we promise to produce compelling content with an immersive experience that can have a lasting memory and can leave an indelible impression upon you. Kishore will soon be entering the Hindi film industry with Chandrashekar Bandiyappa's suspense-thriller Red Collar.

Reacting to this he said, ¡°I don't view it as a Bollywood debut per se. It's a film that we are making in Hindi.¡± Kishore was lately also seen in She Season 2, Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan and The Family Man. KGF makers on the other hand are expected to be brewing the film's next part with no official confirmation.

Kishore was recently in the news after his Twitter account got suspended.

Responding to which the actor cleared all airs and wrote on Instagram, "Just to avoid unnecessary misconceptions about the suspension of my Twitter account. My Twitter account was not suspended because of any of my posts. I have come to know that it was because of Hacking on December 20, 2022. Twitter has promised necessary action. Thanking everyone for their concern (sic)."

Kishore who worked with superstar Rajnikanth in the 2016 gangster drama Kabali last month wished him a heartfelt birthday. He quoted, "He is a wonderful human being. You learn to be human from him. He is so real. Nothing is thought out. Nothing is planned or made up about him. He is just purely so human and makes you feel that way too.¡±
