Karate Champ Amritpal Kaur Dedicates Gold Medal To Sonu Sood For Helping Her With Knee Surgery
Karate Champ Amritpal Kaur has dedicates her Gold Medal to actor Sonu Sood, who helped her with knee surgery in 2020.
People's 'messiah' Sonu Sood, who recently helped people of flood-hit Assam by providing them with relief materials through his charity, the Sood Charity Foundation, has been honoured by Karate champion Amritpal Kaur.
According to an Instagram post, the actor recently met Kaur, who has won several medals for India, including a gold at the 2019 South Asian Championships.

Sharing a glimpse of their meeting on Instagram, the Karate champ wrote, "Met with my Saviour @sonu_sood sir .? Who has helped me 2 years ago. Dedicating this Gold of All India karate championship (National) to you sir.? Thank you so much for being there for me.Without your help I would not have made it.??? Heartiest thanks to you sir for your time and generosity ?"
Sonu Sood also shared a picture clicked during their recent meeting on the social media platform and it shows Sonu Sood and the Karate champion flaunting the gold medal.
Speaking of Amritpal Kaur and how he had helped her in the past, Sonu Sood wrote on Instagram, "When you see the positive impact you have had in other's lives, then it makes your life even more worthwhile. I met Amritpal 2 years ago when she urgently needed a knee surgery. She had huge dreams but circumstances didn't let her work for it. Helping her get there was one of the biggest honours of my life and seeing this medal in her hand today makes it all the more worth it."
The actor further revealed that The All India Karate Champion Amritpal Kaur had won the gold medal without giving even a single score to the opponents. He also said that she's soon going to represent India at the upcoming Commonwealth Championship in Birmingham and he's sure she will bring glory to the nation.
For those who are unaware of Sonu Sood's contribution to society, the actor and philanthropist has been helping hundreds of people across the country ever since the Covid-19 pandemic stated. She recently helped a little girl, who was born with four legs, four arms in Bihar.
