Despite 'Miss You' Message For Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan Is Seemingly Upset With Her
While Kartik Aaryan told Sara Ali Khan that he will miss her on his 33rd birthday night, his recent interview hints that the actor is upset with her for spilling the beans on their relationship on Koffee With Karan 8.
All is well between Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan?
The two have been rumoured to be dating when they shot for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal. It all began on the last season of Koffee With Karan, when Sara who was a newcomer at that point in time appeared on the show with her dad Saif Ali Khan. She admitted on the chat show that she has a huge crush on the Pyaar Ka Punchnama. Saif jokingly reacted to the entire thing and said, "Got money, you can take her."
Sometime later, they were rumoured to be together. However, the relationship didn't last long. When they unfollowed each other on social media, everyone knew something was fishy. The reason for the breakup remains under wraps.
In the recent episode of KJo's chat show, the filmmaker revealed that both Sara and Ananya Panday have dated Kartik Aaryan in the past. He was asking about their recent public appearances together in which she seemed they were back now on good terms with each other.
Sara answered the question and said that these things affect her, but ultimately one has to rise above them. "Something I have realised without sounding semi-negative is that there are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my personal experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises, saying I'll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota."
On Kartik Aaryan's 33rd birthday, he officially patched up with KJo and announced a movie together. Another strange thing was he got a birthday wish from Sara.
In response, he said, "Will miss you tonight."
While everything seems alright between them, it is said that Kartik is upset with her for talking about their relationship on Koffee With Karan.
Is Kartik upset with Sara spilling the beans about their relationship on KWK?
In an interview with Film Companion, the Shehzada actor was quoted as saying, "Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai--relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nahi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye (One thing I believe in is that if a relationship is between two people, the other person should not talk about it. We should all respect our relationships).¡±
He also said, "I expect the same from my partner. It¡¯s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. When you are with someone, you don¡¯t imagine it to be like that. You don¡¯t imagine that it will end. When you talk about it, it¡¯s not like the other person is only thinking about one person, they are thinking about both."
