KGF 3 Coming Soon? Prashanth Neel Says Success Of Yash's Film Has Put Compulsion On Chapter 3
KGF director Prashanth Neel says success of Yash's films in the franchise have put a 'compulsion' on making a third movie.
After the massive success of Yash's KGF Chapter 2, director Prashanth Neel has hinted that there could be a third instalment in the franchise. According to reports, the director of KGF said that Yash's films' success have put a 'compulsion' on making a third movie.
Moreover, KGF Chapter 2 starring Yash in the lead role, teased audiences for a third installment in its end credits.
Speaking of whether there would actually be another movie in the KGF franchise, director Prashanth Neel told Galatta Plus, "There is definitely a possibility of Chapter 3. That also comes out of compulsion. People have loved this world, they've loved this character and we are gonna keep it going. We don't know when, but we are gonna keep it going."
'We Will Definitely Come Back To Make That', Says The KGF Director
In the video interview, the director further shared that they have an idea but they want to take a break. "We had an idea for it a long time back actually, but right now we just want to take a big break and we will definitely come back to make that," he told the YouTube channel.
Moreover, KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur last month during an interview had confirmed that the shooting for the KGF 3 will start after October 2022. He also announced the tentative year for KGF 3 release saying that the new film will hit screens in 2024.
Reports suggest that the makers are planning a 'Marvel-like universe' for the franchise. On the contrary, Karthik Gowda, who happens to be the executive producer of the series has issued an official statement on social media stating there aren't any plans to begin KGF: Chapter 3 ¡®anytime soon¡¯.
KGF Chapter 2 also features Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in key roles.
The film had created such a buzz that on the first day of release, audience flocked in such large numbers outside theatres. Police had to take charged and Lathi charge crowds that was uncontrollable.
From KGF Chapter 1 to the sequel, Yash's dialogues have gained much attention among the audience and one such hit dialogue from the film is - Violence..Violence..Violence! I don't like it..I avoid, but, violence likes me! I can't avoid!
Meanwhile, Yash, who is currently basking in the success of his film have gained the attention of Bollywood heroines as well. And reports suggest that some are even willing to play his love interest in future.
