The man in the viral selfie with Aryan Khan post his arrest has been identified as Kiran Gosavi, a private detective. He was booked for cheating in 2018.
Soon after Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after a raid on a high-profile party on a cruise, a photo was going viral on social media.
The picture was a selfie clicked by a man who was posing with Aryan Khan after his arrest. Who is this man and what was he doing there?
Was the man in the selfie with Aryan Khan an official of NCB?
The agency has denied the same. "Some allegations levelled against the organisation are baseless and seem to have been with malice and probable prejudice that may have been harboured in retaliation against earlier legal action carried out by NCB," NCB Deputy DG Gyaneshwar Singh said in a statement.

Then, who is the man in the photo? The man in question has been identified as KP Gosavi, who is reportedly a private detective.
Nationalist Congress Party spokesperson Nawab Malik shared two videos of showing KP Gosavi entering and leaving the NCB office post the arrest of Aryan Khan. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manish Bhanushali can be seen along with him.

After Malik questioned whether authority can allow private citizens to take part in raids, the NCB clarified they have both been listed as witnesses.
Furthermore, as per several reports including India Today and NDTV, Kiran Gosavi was booked in 2018 by Pune Police on charges of cheating.

He reportedly ran a company called KPG Dreamz Solutions which promised jobs in foreign countries to people from various fields. The company used social media platforms for the promotion.
An aspirant had lodged a case against Gosavi for duping him of Rs 3.09 lakh with a promise of a job at a hotel in Malaysia. The victim said that when he reached the hotel, he realised he had been duped.
