Pakistan¡¯s popular actress Mahira Khan recently tied the knot with businessman Salim Karim. India remembers her as the ¡®Zaalima¡¯ girl after she made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. This is the actress' second wedding and guess what, her son walked her down the aisle making it the biggest highlight.

Mahira has now shared some unseen pictures from her wedding and they are telling a story.
Sharing several pictures from different rituals, Mahira captioned the post, ¡°My mother had one wish¡ to start the wedding with a dua. My beautiful Ama, who is in a wheelchair - one would think she can¡¯t do much - but really, she can do everything and anything. She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture and she was a ready dot on time..¡±

¡°Alhumdulillah for our parents. Later on that day, my childhood girlfriends had a mayun for me. Alhumdulillah for friends I can call my sisters. P.S. I took a bud of the motia and put it in my baali before going down.. for my Nani and Dadi.¡±

Mahira previously married Ali Askari in July 2007 and gave birth to her son Azlan in 2009.
In a recent interview, Mahira revealed her equation with her ex-husband and in-laws. She told Fuchsia Magazine in 2021, ¡°I think that Azlan¡¯s father and their family and my family, we are on the same page when it comes to Azlan. I¡¯m very close to them, even now, as I have grown up in their house. It takes work, it takes swallowing your pride at times, and it takes trying to understand the other person.¡±
¡°And for your child¡¯s sake, you do it. If you¡¯re lucky that people from both sides are good and looking at the child¡¯s well-being and true happiness, then you forget the bitterness.¡±
Reportedly, Salim and Mahira first met at the launch of a television application called Tapmad TV in 2017 and fell in love over the years.
