Michael Jackson Always Dreaded A COVID-19 Type Pandemic & That's Why He Constantly Wore A Mask!
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop is said to have predicted a coronavirus type pandemic, exactly like the type we are witnessing today.
And for those who always wondered why MJ wore a mask? Well, according to claims by the pop sensation's former bodyguard, it was to protect him from this type of pandemic.
Brit Matt, who was Michael Jackson's bodyguard for over a decade, claimed that while Michael was on a global tour, he somehow felt there could be a potential contagious virus that could spread.
The 41-year-old said in an interview, "He knew that a natural disaster was always there. He was very aware and would always predict that we could be wiped out at any time. That a germ that could spread. So he would go through four countries in one day sometimes and he was on airplanes with people all the time."
Matt further said how we would jokingly ask Michael to not wear the face-mask because it was embarrassing and there was a huge back-clash as to why MJ would wear a mask, leading people to think the singer was sick.
He added, "He would say, 'Matt I canĄ¯t get ill, I canĄ¯t let my fans down. IĄ¯ve got concerts coming up. IĄ¯m on this earth for a reason. I mustnĄ¯t damage my voice, IĄ¯ve got to stay healthy, I donĄ¯t know who IĄ¯m going to encounter today, I donĄ¯t know what I might pass on'."
Matt says that if Michael were alive today he'd tell people "I told you so".
The only way to honor his genius right now is to stay at home and play some of his iconic songs. It's the kind of content we all need.
