Mithun Chakraborty Recollects His Struggling Days, Says He Danced At Big Parties To Earn Food!

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, currently on the judging panel of Colors* upcoming show Hunarbaaz 每 Desh Ki Shaan, got emotional. After his interaction with contestant Akash Singh, he got overwhelmed and recalled his struggling days.
Sharing his own life story, he added how he would walk to work to save money.
He said,
※I thought no one would cast me as a hero; hence I decided to become a villain, moreover a dancing villain. I used to walk to work so that I could save money. I used to dance in big parties because I would get food to eat.§
Mithun reinstated that in no way was he trying to lecture Akash. He added,
"I am not lecturing you lekin &Bachcha apne sapno ko itna majbur kardo ke woh sharma jaaye*.§
The actor, who also owns a chain of restaurants, spoke to The Times of India and recalled how COVID-19 hit his business.
He added that they could barely sell a single cup of coffee.
The actor was quoted as saying, ※Coronavirus ne bedaa gark kar rakha hai (Coronavirus ruined it all)."
Mithun said he would shudder at the thought of how daily wage workers would struggle to survive the Covid-19 pandemic.
※Unke baare mein soch ke rooh kaanp jaati hai#§, said Mithun.
Since he was the only earning member of the family, he asked his hotel staff to divide whatever money was coming in among themselves.
