Mob Stops Screening Of 'Bachchhan Paandey', Demands Theatre To Only Screen 'The Kashmir Files'
The screening of Bachchhan Paandey was stopped in Odisha theatre after mob chanting 'Jai Shree Ram' slogans demanded to only screen The Kashmir Files.
Ever since Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files has released, the movie is not only roaring at the box office but has also been embroiled in one controversy after the other. The film that has minted Rs 150 crores already has been making headlines every day.

Now it has been reported that some goons entered the cinema hall in Odisha and stopped the screening of Akshay Kumar's Bachchhan Paandey. They demanded the theatre owners to only play The Kashmir Files.
As seen in the video below, they shouted slogans such as "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Shree Ram" among others.

Following this, the multiplex staff was forced to discontinue screening of Bachchhan Paandey. The audience of the action-comedy movie also walked away.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the incident took place in Eylex Cinemas in Sambalpur, Odisha.
A source close to the multiplex said, "We live in a world where everything happens. Russia invades Ukraine and the world is not doing anything. So, you can imagine in a country like India which has 130 crore people, everyone has their own interests. That¡¯s all."
Another exhibitor revealed, "Many are coming in groups of 10, 20, 50, and even 100. Though most of them are peacefully watching the film, certain groups are creating ruckus on the premises. One group fought with our staff and alleged that we have cut a scene from The Kashmir Files. Arre, how can any theatre manager cut any scene from any film?"
