The last two seasons saw the robbers making a new plan to raid the Bank of Spain in order to save Rio from Europol.
It's been 100 hours and the gang is still stuck inside. "It feels like 100 years have gone by". They are still recovering from Nairobi's death.
Without further ado, here is everything that the Money Heist season 5 trailer has revealed.
1. The Professor has been captured and is being tortured.
The fourth season ended with The Professor (?lvaro Morte) being held at gunpoint by Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri). In the next season, Sierra not only attacks Professor, but she also holds him captive and even tortures him.
4. Lisbon tries to contact Professor
As Lisbon tries to contact the Professor, he gets a cryptic response from him that says "The stormwater tank has been discovered and it is possible this is the last time I'll speak to all of you".
Will he suffer like Rio? That remains to be seen.
3. The Spanish Army is brutal
In the trailer, Colonel Luis Tamayo (Fernando Cayo) tells ?ngel Rubio (Fernando Soto) that he is sending the Spanish army after the robbers. "They'll come out victorious or they'll come out dead."
4. It's not a robbery, it's a war!
With "no father, no plan, no hope", the gang has not accepted defeat. As seen in the trailer, they will go all out against the Spanish Army.

In the absence of the Professor, Lisbon is leading the gang. She tells them, "We're up against the ropes, but we're not gonna end up in the morgue."
6. Berlin's (Pedro Alonso) cameo
As the gang fights, Berlin can be heard saying, "With me, you'll find authentic liberation, and if we ever have to pay a price for it, then we pay it."
7. Denver-Stockholm and Rio-Tokyo have seemingly resolved their differences
Keeping their personal issues aside, the gang has united to wage a war against the Spanish military, which is seemingly very brutal.
8. The trailer also shows glimpses of the new cast members.
