'I Feel The Change In Him,' Says Neetu Kapoor Two Months After Son Ranbir Kapoor's Marriage
Neetu Kapoor opens up about how she feels post Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's marriage.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who are busy gearing up for the release of their much-anticipated film Brahmastra, has united for life after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14 this year.
Their dreamy wedding made the biggest news of the year so far and fans are yet to get over them. While fans were jumping with joy to see their favourite stars get hitched in real life, someone was the happiest of all when the two Bollywood lovebirds got married.
And it's none other than Ranbir Kapoor's actress mom Neetu Kapoor.

During an interaction with ETimes, when asked about how life has changed for her after her actor son Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's marriage, actress Neetu Kapoor said, "I am the happiest, today. She has given him a lot of love and warmth. I see the change in him. They look good together. I am very happy that Alia has come into our family. So, life has changed and I am very content."
"Woh tension hota hai na, shaadi nahin hui, shaadi nahi hui. Ab shaadi ho gayi!" she added in Hindi.
Only 40 People Attended Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor's Wedding
Moreover, the actress sides with the idea that big weddings are unnecessary. Speaking of her son Ranbir Kapoor's wedding held privately in attendance of only family and close friends, the actress said, "It set an example to many. You don't have to do a big wedding where you should be happy," and went on to add, "Else, hum doosre logon ko khush karne mein lag jaate hain." Neetu Kapoor also mentioned that only forty people attended Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's wedding.
Neetu Kapoor's JugJugg Jeeyo Releases Next Week
On the work front, Neetu Kapoor stars in JugJugg Jeeyo, which also has actors Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor playing the main roles. The cast of the film is currently busy with the promotions of their film, which also marks Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani¡¯s second collaboration after the 2019 flick Kalank.
Directed by Raj Mehta, JugJugg Jeeyo is slated to hit the theatre screens on June 24, 2022. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's first onscreen collaboration Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji releases on September 9, 2022.
