In the photo, the actress can be seen wearing a black kurta with white patterns while praying with folded hands. As soon as the pictures went viral, she was brutally trolled, with people questioning her presence at the mela.

Poonam Pandey reacts to the stampede
Poonam responded to the stampede that occurred at Maha Kumbh early on Wednesday by calling it "very unfortunate." The stampede claimed the lives of at least 15 individuals and injured several others.
Poonam stated, "Shakti bhale hi kam ho jaaye shraddha kam nahi honi chhaiye. Om Namah Shivaay," showing the crowds of devotees who had come to take a holy dip. Om Namah Shivaay.
Poonam Pandey¡¯s death stunt
Poonam made news on February 2 after claiming to have died of cervical cancer in a post on her official Instagram account. Publications were also informed by her manager that she passed away at the age of 32 from cervical cancer. But Poonam returned to Instagram a day later, claiming that she had staged her own death to raise awareness of cervical cancer. Her publicity went wrong and so no matter what she does people think that it's yet another PR activity.
