Jaideep Ahlawat is grieving over the loss of his father, who passed away on January 14, 2025, just a few days before Paatal Lok season 2 premieres. The actor apparently hurried to Delhi after learning of the news in order to be with his family. In an official statement, the actor's team confirmed the news. Additionally, his team asked everyone to respect the family's privacy as they deal with their devastating loss. Jaideep Ahlawat took to his Instagram page months ago and shared a picture with his dad. In the photo, both of them could be seen dressed in a white Kurta-Pajama along with ¡®gamcha¡¯ on their shoulder. In the caption, the actor wrote, ¡°Tera hi toh ansh hoon, toh phir tujhsa hi toh hoonga na" ¡ª "Ditto Bauji ki Copy ho Hathiram Chaudhary" ¡ª Babbu Apna Stud Launda hai.. Papa.¡±

The statement from his team reads, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jaideep Ahlawat's beloved father. He departed for his heavenly abode surrounded by family and love. Jaideep and his family request privacy during this difficult time as they cope with their profound loss. We thank you for your understanding and prayers.."
For those who don¡¯t know, Jaideep Ahlawat starrer Paatal Lok Season 2 will be released on 17th January 2025 on Prime Video. Following the loss of his father, we currently do not know if the actor would be seen in promotional activities or at the show¡¯s screening.
