Priyanka Chopra has topped the &lsquo50 Sexiest Asian Women&rsquo poll conducted by London-based weekly newspaper Eastern Eye for a record-breaking fifth time. Last year it was Deepika Padukone who claimed the top slot This year PC has reclaimed the throne Surprisingly Deepika has slipped down to the third spot this year as the second spot has been claimed by TV actress Nia Sharma.

After proving her mettle as an actress in India, Priyanka is winning hearts in the west as well. So much so, that she has been named ¡°sexiest Asian woman¡± for the fifth time in an annual UK poll.
Priyanka Chopra has topped the ¡®50 Sexiest Asian Women¡¯ poll conducted by London-based weekly newspaper Eastern Eye for a record-breaking fifth time. Last year, it was Deepika Padukone who claimed the top slot. This year, PC has reclaimed the throne.
Surprisingly, Deepika has slipped down to the third spot this year as the second spot has been claimed by TV actress Nia Sharma.
¡°I cannot actually take credit for this at all. Full credit should be given to my genetics and your optics. I feel grateful and am humbled. Consistency is key,¡± PC said thanking everyone who voted for her.
Nia Sharma, who has also been hailed as the sexiest television star of 2017, was at the third position last year. She is happy to have grabbed the second spot this year.
¡°But seeing my name next to her in the list is no less a dream and struck me with a frenzied happiness... I owe my fans this joy and want to share it with them despite not being able to digest the development,¡± she said.
