Bollywood's Popular And Loved Playback Singer KK Passes Away At 53 In Kolkata

One of Bollywood's most loved and admired playback singers Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, has reportedly passed away in Kolkata. The 53-year-old playback singer was performing on the stage in Kolkata when he complained of uneasiness.

Multiple reports claim that the singer suffered a massive heart attack and was declared dead at the hospital in Kolkata.
In 1999, KK was selected as the new artiste, and he came out with a solo album titled Pal with Leslie Lewis composing the music.
The album was arranged, composed, and produced by Leslie Lewis of Colonial Cousins. Mehboob wrote the lyrics.
KK's songs 'Aap Ki Dua", "Yaaron," and the title track "Pal" in no time ruled the lips of youngsters & also the music chart. Fans have started flooding social media with their heartfelt tributes for the singer.
After his super-hit album Pal in 1999, the singer-composer became the 'voice of love' as he became the voice of several Bollywood superstars. His major hits remain Tadap Tadap (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, 1999), Bas Ek Pal, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai, Dus Bahane (Dus, 2005), and Tune Maari Entriyaan (Gunday, 2014) among many others.
This is a significant blow to the Indian music scene, a piece of the heartbreaking news that has come just a few days after Sidhu Moose Wala's murder.
