'I¡¯m Good At My Job', Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Did Not Audition For Russo Brothers' Citadel
Global actress Priyanka Chopra has revealed that she has not auditioned for her upcoming series Citadel.
Global icon Priyanka Chopra, who is all set to be seen in the Russo Brothers¡¯ upcoming series Citadel, recently said that is not going to be ¡®sidelined¡¯ in the Hollywood industry as she is a good actor.
The actress, who gave some of the best performances in Bollywood before moving abroad, also admitted that she didn¡¯t audition for Joe and Anthony Russo's Citadel.
Priyanka said even if she had auditioned, she would have got the job.
Talking about Indian representation in Hollywood films, Priyanka Chopra was quoted as saying to The Tribune, ¡°We produce more than a thousand movies in India every year. Our technicians are world class, our technicians are hired by Hollywood to do a lot of their work, because we are good at our jobs. But yet we are sidelined.¡±
Revealing that she did not audition for Citadel, Priyanka said, ¡°An actor like me, who has enjoyed being a leading lady in Bollywood, I know my job and will not be sidelined when I audition. I will be good because I¡¯m a good actor. I will win the job like I did for Quantico because I¡¯m good at my job and I¡¯m not underconfident. (sic)¡±
According to Nick Jonas' wife Priyanka, there is a need to generate additional opportunities for Indians worldwide, and she is facilitating the same in the Hollywood industry.
She revealed that she is currently working on several shows that not only feature Indian actors but also have Indian women working behind the scenes as writers and directors.
Her ultimate goal is to increase the number of Indian individuals in the Hollywood industry as she firmly believes in the immense talent of the Indian community and their rightful place on the global stage.
