¡®We Would Just Keep Laughing¡¯, Rajkummar Recalls ¡®Fond Memories¡¯ With Sushant During Kai Po Che
Sushant Singh Rajput's Kai Po Che co-star Rajkummar Rao has recalled his fond memories with the former and says he misses him.
Sushant Singh Rajput¡¯s death left a void in the hearts of the entire nation. The actor died by suicide on 14th June 2020 and since then there has not been a single day that social media users forget to talk about him. Where SSR's industry friends are heavy on heart to talk about his death, his Kai Po Che co-actor Rajkummar Rao has poured his heart out.

Rajkummar in a recent interview recalled his fond memories of SSR while they were working on that iconic film.
Rao in a chat with Humans of Bombay shared, ¡°Kai Po Che was the film that put me on posters all over the city and of course, it was my film with Sushant, who we all miss dearly and I have very fond memories of that film.¡± The Newton actor added that the three of them would laugh out loud all the time."
¡°Before we started filming, on the sets, and even during promotions, the three of us would just laugh out loud for anything. There¡¯s one interview, I don¡¯t know if you can find it somewhere, the whole interview all of us are just laughing. We would just give half a line¡¯s answer and for five minutes we would just keep laughing. Very very fond memories of Kai Po Che,¡± Rajkummar said.

Other than Sushant and Rajkummar, this Abhishek Kapoor directorial also starred Amit Sadh.
Amit in an earlier podcast interview with Chetan Bhagat revealed that he and SSR were more like lovers. ¡°Not that we were the best of friends but for that one and a half year, we were lovers, even Raj. I have so much love for Raj. If someone speaks ill of Rajkummar or Sushant, I get very angry,¡± he expressed.
In the same interview, Sadh also revealed how he wanted to quit showbiz after Sushant¡¯s death.
¡°I was so affected that I wanted to quit the industry. I was ready to leave. Chid gaya tha maine. Bada tough hai yeh industry¡±. Amit further revealed how badly that unfortunate incident affected him, ¡°Mere liye boht badi cheez thi aur hamesha rahegi. Yeh kabhi purana hoga hi nahi.¡±
In a career spanning over 12 years in TV and films, Sushant was remarkable. From being a household name through the daily soap Pavitra Rishta to the biographical drama MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, this small-town boy left a big-time impression of his skills. Sushant was just 34 when he left for his heavenly abode.
