People Slam Ranbir Kapoor For His 'Insensitive' Joke On Alia Bhatt's Weight Gain Post Pregnancy
Ranbir Kapoor is being slammed for his insensitive joke about Alia Bhatt's weight gain post the pregnancy. People are offended.
It wasn't long ago when Ranbir Kapoor was slammed by people for mocking Anushka Sharma for her anxiety problem. He even pill-shamed her for the same. "Anushka is the anxiety queen... She takes anti-anxiety pills even if she has to have a conversation because she is frantic," he said during an interview.
Once again, people are questioning his sense of humour as this time he has mocked his own wife Alia Bhatt for her weight gain due to pregnancy.
In the clip doing the rounds, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are talking about why they are not promoting their film Brahmastra extensively.
After Ranbir, Alia answers and says, "If you're asking why we are not failed everywhere... right now our focus is..."
At this point, Ranbir interrupts and cracks a joke which people think was insensitive, and says, "well somebody has failoed" while looking at Alia's baby bump. She is left dumfound and so is Ayan Mukerji.

People are calling out Ranbir Kapoor once again for an insensitive joke.
"That phailoed comment tho :/// also really wish Alia would embrace her bump."
"Err, yeah. OK. Honestly, I don't want to nitpick and criticise Ranbir and Alia every time but main kya karoon. Ranbir, why'd you need to say that phailoed comment on air? Like she has body image issues, she's heavily pregnant, leave her alone."
"Eh, it isn't even a good joke. Most women already have a hard time accepting the changes pregnancy brings to their bodies, joking about it is just insensitive."
"Yikes. That phaloed comment from Ranbir¡"
"Pheloed pj could have been avoided."
"That phailoed comment could have been avoided, poor attempt at a joke but husband wife hain to chalta hai."
"Would he dare to say the "phailod" thing to Kareena?"
"Ayan cringed hard on that joke"
"I know Ranbir is the type to enjoy those boomer 'marriage is miserable-wife is stupid' sms, probably still has a daily subscription. what an insensitive comment, poor Alia's face dropped! publicly saying shit like this is distasteful."
"That was mean to say that in public or private to his pregnant wife."
