Randeep Hooda highlighted the need to control and monitor railway tracks especially in areas where wildlife can be found as train accidents contribute the highest to animal deaths.
"Cost of infra through wild life areas : Death of wild animals on railway tracks is just not acceptable. Two tigers n now this elephant ( different locations) within 1 month. Existing tracks should be revisited for mitigation measures and new ones to avoid such areas," wrote Randeep Hooda.
