Considering how the response makes him overwhelmed, he talked about his journey with Bollywood Hungama when he got emotional.
Reinstating that he doesn't like to cry in public, Ranveer Singh said with the kind of response he's getting for 83, and he has no other option.
In the interview, he was quoted as saying,
¡°The love that is coming my way, I am overwhelmed. It¡¯s a miracle that I became an actor¡.¡±
When he was further asked why he thinks that, Ranveer added,
"Look at the fact; what chances did I have at succeeding?¡±

He said that if someone had told him a decade ago that this was the kind of reaction he¡¯d get for playing Kapil Dev in a film, it would have sounded ¡®fanciful.¡¯

The movie has made over Rs 50 crore at the box office, but since the government has imposed new restrictions on theatres due to COVID-19 cases, these numbers are bound to fluctuate.
