After Urvashi Rautela's 'chotu bhaiya-bat ball' comment, Rishabh Pant responded with a cryptic note.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the cricketer wrote, "Don¡¯t stress over what you cannot control".

For those who have no clue what's going on between them, the rumour mills are rife that the Bollywood diva and Pant were dating at one point in time.

This was back in 2018. Before they could make their relationship official, they had already broken up. Everyone had almost forgotten about it until Urvashi mentioned the same in a recent interview and fueled up the controversy again.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress narrated an old incident when " Mr RP" waited to meet her in a hotel lobby.

She said, "In New Delhi, I was shooting full day and came back in the night and quickly I had to get ready because, you know, that girls take a lot of time to get ready. So Mr RP came and was waiting in the (hotel) lobby like he wanted to meet. I had already spent 10 hours and was so tired that I dozed off. When I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and then I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I told him jab aap Mumbai aaoge tab hum milenge."

She refused to reveal who RP was. Furthermore, she said that when they finally met, there were paparazzi all around them.

"Mumbai aaye, mile, and bahar aate hi poore paps and all woh sab drama ho gaya and the other day it became such a big news," she said.

Soon after the interview made headlines, Rishabh Pant called her "choti behen".

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, "It¡¯s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them ¡°merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai (sic)."

Pant, however, deleted the Story after it went viral.

Responding to this, Urvashi Rautela took a jibe at him again.

She wrote on social media, "Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball¡­main koyi munni nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho (sic)."
