RRR Fame Ram Charan Wants To Play Cricketer Virat Kohli Onscreen, Says 'He's An Inspiring Soul'
RRR fame Ram Charan has expressed his desire to portray cricketer Virat Kohli in his biopic given a chance.
RRR star Ram Charan recently attended the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles and witnessed his song Naatu Naatu with Jr NTR making history as it won an Oscar for the 'Best Orignal song.'
The actor is currently on cloud nine. The song from SS Rajamouli's blockbuster movie RRR was also performed at the Oscars in 2023.
Ram Charan returned to India on March 17 and was greeted by his fans at the airport.
In a recent interaction during the India Today Conclave, Ram Charan expressed his desire to star in a sports biopic.
The 'Magadheera' actor said that he would like to play cricketer Virat Kohli if given a chance.
When asked about a role he hasn't played and would love to it in the future, the actor said, "I would like to play anything to do with sport. It's been a long due. Maybe a sports-based film."
Also, when suggested to do India's popular cricketer and actress Anushka Sharma's husband Virat Kohli's biopic, the actor agreed and said, "Fantastic, he is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also."
Moreover, Ram Charan and his father Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi met Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on March 17 following RRR's Naatu Naatu song winning the prestigious Oscar Award for 'Best Original Song' in Los Angeles.
