Saif Ali Khan Discharged From Hospital, Here¡¯s Why He Underwent Surgery

Following an elbow/triceps surgery at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Saif Ali Khan left for his home a few hours ago. After coming back home, He waved and greeted paps alongside actor-wife Kareena Kapoor Khan outside their Bandra home.
Saif had recently had surgery on his elbow, and he was seen wearing trousers and a blue T-shirt in a video that is going viral. When Kareena Kapoor arrived to pick him up, both of them cheerfully waved to the photographers outside their Mumbai residence.
What Happened To Saif Ali Khan?
As per HT, the 53-year-old actor had surgery following the recurrence of an old ailment sustained on a movie shoot. According to reports, he sustained the injuries whilst filming the 2017 Rangoon, which was helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
A source said the same according to PTI that "He is doing well.¡±
He said, ¡°This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands, and I thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.¡± Saif said in a statement to Indiatoday.
Devara makers wished the actor a speedy recovery, on Tuesday. The official X account of the film, wrote, "Wishing you a Speedy recovery, Saif sir! Get well soon. Can't wait for your comeback on the sets. #Devara."
Saif Ali Khan On The Work Front
Regarding his career, Saif Ali Khan most recently starred alongside Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in Om Raut's 2023 film Adipurush. Prior to that, he co-starred with Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha. The actor is starring alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR in Devara, his upcoming film. The actor, his mother, and seasoned actress Sharmila Tagore recently made an appearance on an episode of Karan Johar's discussion show Koffee With Karan 8.
