Another star who was spotted at his party was his former girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani, whom he parted ways with years ago but remains to be friends with.

Salman and Sangeeta met on the sets of a TV commercial and started dating in 1986. Over a decade, their love remained strong. They even decided to get married. The wedding invitations were printed but destiny had other plans. Salman was reportedly caught cheating on her. During an episode of Koffee With Karan, Salman said:

"There was a time that I really wanted to get married and then it just didn¡¯t work out. I have always come so close. People have got cold feet. ¡®Theek hai, boyfriend, isko zindagi bhar jhelna padega kya (They think I am a good boyfriend but it¡¯s difficult to tolerate me for the rest of their lives).¡¯ With Sangeeta, even the cards and all were printed," he said.

When Karan Johar asked him about the rumours of him cheating on Sangeeta, Salman said said, "Yeah, kind of... I get caught. I¡¯m stupid."
