Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is on cloud nine with his happiness over India defeating Pakistan in the T20 World Cup held on Sunday. The match which took place in Melbourne, Australia has made the entire country dwell in emotions. Virat Kohli who slammed an unbeaten knock of 82 runs off 53 balls, received a special mention in SRK¡¯s tweet.

SRK whose song ¡®Chakde India¡¯ was playing in the stadium tweeted,

Happy Diwali starts right now.¡± Shah Rukh had played the role of a hockey coach in Chak De India who was accused of disloyalty to the country. In the climax, his team won the match and the film touched people.

Shah Rukh Khan who was last seen as the lead in 2018's Zero had his last appearance as an extended cameo in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. His upcoming projects include Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham and Atlee's Jawan with Nayanthara. He also has Dhunki with Taapsee Pannu, by Rajkumar Hirani. Anushka on the other hand will be seen playing Jhulan Goswami in Chakda ¡®Xpress. The film traces Jhulan¡¯s life struggles and is directed by Prosit Roy.
