If you are wondering what it takes to be successful, the man himself shared his success formula. He once shared in 2013, "If you want to be successful, then there's a few things you cannot do. Firstly, please don't eat. If you worry about food, when to sleep, when you'll relax, and I am not lying, the things that they teach you at a 5-star hotel spa - relax, close your eyes - and all this good and healthy living, you will have to give it up. There is nothing like healthy living, good living, sleep, food, relaxation... putting cucumber on eyes won't help, if you want to be successful."

Giving his fans a reality check, he added, "You'll be worried, tensed, your blood pressure with go up. You cannot worry about sleep, you cannot worry about food. Even now when I fly first class these days... Like I was saying earlier,I travel first class on a plane too... I don't even recline the reclining bed. You cannot be restful and at peace if you want to be successful. And it's the truth. It's God's honest truth. Other people might tell you other things, but I want to say a few more things to the youngsters here... Aaram Haraam Hai... Secondly, if you don't know how to sacrifice, you cannot be successful. You will have to give up what you are right now."

Giving his example, Shah Rukh Khan added, "Like I'm very lazy. I like to play video games and be with my children. I don't like to work. I want to write poems, I want to read books. I want to relax. But I will sleep for 4-5 hours and I wake up and I wake up and go to work every morning. If I need a 6-pack, I work out too. I hate it, but I sacrifice it all."

Pain, suffering and sadness - nothing should stop you!

Shah Rukh Khan who lost both his parents before his debut added in a conversation with News Tak, "Thirdly, there will be sadness, suffering and pain. The pain will go away, Success doesn't wait. So, you will feel the pain, you will be ill. You will be stressed. You still have to work. So, all the traditional advice that you get is bogus. And whoever says 'relax, life is beyond work', it's good if you don't want to be successful. I feel envious of people who relax and rest. I feel jealous of people who don't want to be successful, because success won't come until you arerestless. You have to be like that."
