Did You Know Bollywood's 'King' Shah Rukh Khan Was Once Scolded By Pakistan's Ex-PM Imran Khan?

Can you imagine Shah Rukh Khan, who is often called 'The King Of Bollywood' being scolded by anyone?

Well, the Pathaan star was once an ardent fan of the cricket sport and even visited a stadium to request an autograph from former cricketer Imran Khan.

However, reports suggest that Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan scolded him and pushed him away instead of giving him an autograph.

The old incident involving Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan has resurfaced amid reports of the ex-Pakistani PM's arrest.

During a previous conversation with Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, Shah Rukh Khan, recalled a fanboy moment he had with Imran Khan at a cricket stadium in Delhi.

SRK Wanted An Autograph From Imran

Upon seeing the batsman nearby, the Bollywood Badshah took the opportunity to ask for an autograph, however, Imran lashed out at him and shooed him away.

It appears that the team was not performing their best on that particular day, and the star cricketer was also not in his best mood.

Shah Rukh Khan speculated that this may have affected Imran's mood.

Later, when superstar SRK met Imran Khan, he shared the incident with the former cricketer. The actor did not hold a grudge against Imran and pledged to remain a fan forever.

Recently, the paramilitary forces in Pakistan arrested Imran Khan from the Islamabad Court, causing an uproar on social media. Allegations have surfaced that Imran and his wife committed fraud amounting to billions of Pakistani rupees.

SRK Upcoming Projects

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's last outing Pathaan was a massive success. Apart from SRK, the film had Deepika Padukone and John Abraham playing the other lead roles.

Pathaan surpassed films like SS Rajamouli's Baahubali, Aamir Khan's Dangal, and Yash's KGF 2. It even went on to break several box office records after its release.

SRK will be next seen in Atlee's Jawan, which will feature Nayanthara opposite the superstar. This also marks Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan's first project together.

The movie is slated to hit screens on September 7, 2023.
