'She Lived Like A Commoner', Rhea Chakraborty's Lawyer Reveals How She Spent 28 Days In Jail
Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde revealed how Rhea spent her days at the Byculla Jail. She lived like a commoner, he said.
The Chakraborty family is going through a tough phase. The entire family is receiving hate and has been scrutinized even before Sushant Singh Rajput's death case could be solved.
"How will she heal from this?" her mother had asked while admitting that she herself has contemplated suicide a lot of times.
After spending 28 days in jail, Rhea was granted bail. "Not part of chain of drug dealers... has no criminal antecedents", said Bombay High Court in its verdict.
In the interview with NDTV, Satish Maneshinde revealed how Rhea spent her days at the Byculla Jail. She lived like a commoner, he said.
"I personally went to a jail to see a client after so many years, because she was hounded, and I wanted to see the condition that she was in. I was fortunate to see that she was in good spirits. She looked after herself in the jail. She used to conduct yoga classes for herself and her jail inmates. She adjusted herself in the jail, because she could not get home food because of the pandemic, and she lived with the inmates as if she was a commoner. Being an army girl, she fought the conditions like a battle, and she is ready to face any person who is trying to accuse her and harm her interests", he said.
Her lawyer also said that they will take legal action against those who tried to tarnish her reputation.
