Drishyam Actor Shriya Saran Reacts To Criticism Over Her Public Kiss With Beau Andrei Koscheev
Drishyam actress Shriya Saran reacts to people trolling her for kissing her husband Andrei Koscheev in public. She thinks it's beautiful.
Actress Shriya Saran who predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi industries recently featured in Ajay Devgn¡¯s Drishyam 2. During a special screening of the film, Shriya showed up with her husband Andrei Koscheev. Posing for the cameras, the duo kissed and that made some netizens uncomfortable. Saran now has a reply to them.
Decked up in a red saree and golden earrings, Saran had her husband Andrei sporting a sky-blue suit. In Drishyam, Shriya plays the character of Nandini Salgaonkar.
It was a video from the press appearance at the film's screening shared by a paparazzi that had people leave comments like "Why do they have to kiss in public every time?" and "They kiss every time in front of the camera, kiss at home."
Shriya reacting to this, told News18, ¡°It¡¯s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it¡¯s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it¡¯s beautiful. He doesn¡¯t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don¡¯t read bad comments or react to them. It¡¯s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I¡¯ve to do.¡±
Shriya also shared Andrei¡¯s reaction to her films Drishyam 2, RRR, and Gamanam (2021) and said, ¡°He really loved it but he told me that he needs to watch it again to understand it properly. The other day, we were talking about it at two o¡¯clock in the morning, which was really interesting. The film is like that because there¡¯s so much going and by the end of it, you¡¯re trying to figure out what happened.¡±
Tabu who is highly appreciated for her acting in Drishyam 2 received all hail from Shriya too.
The 40-year-old actor said, ¡°Cinema has given me the chance to work with some amazing actors like Tabu. The intensity with which she shows a mother¡¯s pain in Drishyam 2 is incredible. She fights for her son so fiercely and it¡¯s beautiful in its own way. You might wonder if it¡¯s justified but the fact remains that her intentions are pure.¡±
Shriya further spoke about her experiences of working on a project like Drishyam and how even after the director¡¯s change, it was just growth for her. She said, ¡°It has been over two decades for me in the film industry. I want to experiment more and work with directors who inspire and help me to find a part of me in a character. I really long for people who I can fall in love with while working.¡±
