Simi in a 2011 interview recalled having shared a deep bond with the industrialist. She shared with the Times of India, ¡°Ratan and I go back a long way. He¡¯s perfection. He¡¯s got a sense of humour, is modest, and is the perfect gentleman. Money was never his driving force. He¡¯s not as relaxed in India as he is abroad.¡±
In a 2020 interview with Humans of Bombay, Ratan Tata detailed his most precious relationship that happened during the early 1960s when he was in Los Angeles. He had fallen in love with a woman who was also ready to move to India for him. ¡°When you asked whether I¡¯d ever been in love, I came seriously close to getting married four times and each time it got close to there and I guess I backed off in fear of one reason or another,¡± Mr Tata once told PTI.
