Did Sunny Deol take an indirect dig at Katrina Kaif while talking about actresses being skeptical about playing mother in Apne 2? Well, fans think so.
Just two days after its release, Gadar 2 became Sunny Deol's highest-grossing movie ever. The film based on Indo-Pak love story has minted Rs 229 crores in India so far. His last highest-grossing movie was Gadar: Ek Prem Katha which collected Rs 76.65 crores.

Not just Sunny Deol, even Dharmendra is happy that his recently released movie is receiving love from all corners.
At a recent event, Sunny Deol was talking about the success of the film when he opened up on making a sequel to Apne, 2017 movie which was also directed by Anil Sharma and featured his father Dharmendra, his brother Bobby Deol along with Katrina Kaif, Shilpa Shetty and Kirron Kher.

While talking about Apne 2, Sunny said, "Apne ki kahani hai mere pas hai... dekhte hai aage jake kab shuru karenge aur bohot hi pyari kahani hai iss waqt jo Apne ki humare pas hai wohi family values hai jo the ussi chiz ki extension hai."

He then added, "Bas abhi meri kuch actresses thi jo Maa ka role karne darr rahi thi, shayad ab karengi".
While he did not name the actress, fans think he was taking a dig at Katrina Kaif who was apparently skeptical about playing a mother onscreen.

A Katrina Kaif fan said, "Lol this is the dumbest tweet I've Ever seen first of all she wasn't the lead of that film 2nd of all why would she do a cameo for a film just Because she had a small part in the first installment no one supported Her but u Expect her to, bro has no Brain cells."
