Vicky Kaushal Dismisses Claims Of Drug Abuse At Karan Johar's Party, Says 'Jumping To Things Is Unfair'
The video from Karan Johar's party that went viral not too long back. Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to Twitter and accused the celebrities of flaunting drugs at the party. The MLA suggested that the video documented a clear case of drug abuse and also requested Mumbai police to register an FIR.
Remember the video from Karan Johar's party that went viral not too long back? Given that people can be all too quick to assume the worst, things were no different once the video popped up online.
The video from the party that Karan Johar hosted at his place shows Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The same video is said to have been recorded by Karan Johar himself.
But the internet didn't treat it as a harmless video upload on social media. Rather they were quick to suggest that there had to be drugs at this party.

Vicky Kaushal recently opened up about the matter at the India Today Conclave. Brushing aside all such claims and allegations Vicky Kaushal said that he was downright shocked.
"So, here's what really happened. Karan calls all of us, we're just chilling at his place. Three days before this, I had just recovered from dengue. I had been sitting at home for ten days, and doctors were like 'You can now get back to work.' So anyway at the party, five minutes before the video was made, Karan's mother was there, and had just put a little gangaajal on us," he explained.
Talking about his facial expressions in the video, Vicky said, "My expression was perfect. That reflection was also caught. The next day I had gone to Arunachal Pradesh, where I spent four days with the military. I had no clue what was going on, I had no internet. I come back, meet my family, and was telling them about my trip. I was happy, as I had spent time with the military. I open Twitter and go "Hain?" I went back to my parents, and asked, "Do you know about this?'"

Meanwhile, Karan Johar in a recent interview said he wouldn't put out such a video if any of the alleged things were taking place. He also added that everyone was having a chill time after working hard for a week and nothing more.
Social media trials can be unfair, and basing the truth on one video may be more so. What do you think?
