'Vijay Deverakonda Is Arrogant', Mumbai Theatre Owner Lashes Out At Liger Actor For His Remark
As Liger fails to impress the audiences, Mumbai theatre owner slams actor Vijay Deverakonda for his comment on boycott trend.
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday¡¯s most-awaited film 'Liger' has finally hit theatres. Unfortunately, the film did not perform the way the makers and the actors expected it to.
While the film also features legendary boxer Mike Tyson, it has left fans disappointed for various reasons. The Vijay Deverakonda starrer has been receiving mixed reviews from both fans and critics.
A Mumbai theatre owner has now lashed out at Bollywood debutant Deverakonda, calling him "arrogant."

In a recent interview, Executive Director of Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir Cinema, Manoj Desai, has slammed Vijay Deverakonda for his remarks on the ongoing boycott trend that has impacted the box office collections of many big Bollywood movies lately.
Manoj Desai also called out Deverakonda for negative reviews of the movie after its premiere.
¡°Why are you showing smartness by saying ¡®Boycott our movie¡¯? People won¡¯t even watch on OTT. Such behaviour of yours has put us in trouble and impacting our advance bookings. Mr Vijay, you are anaconda not ¡®Konda Konda¡¯. You are talking like an anaconda. ¡®Vinaash kaale vipareet buddhi¡¯, when the time of destruction inches closer, the mind stops working, and you are doing that. anyways, it¡¯s your wish," theatre owner Manoj Desai said during an interview with BollywoodLife.

Vijay Deverakonda, who took the internet by storm with his sex revelations on Karan Johar's controversial chat show Koffee With Karan recently, had earlier claimed on Twitter that his film Liger will mint more than Rs 200 crore in theatres alone.
The actor's old tweet has resurfaced on social media lately. "Too little. I¡¯ll do more in the theaters," he had tweeted. Moreover, during a recently interview with IndiaToday, Vijay said that he is someone who doesn't settle for "good" but believes in being "extraordinary."

"When someone speaks about my performance, I am not happy with 'good'. It is like an insult to me. For me, it has to be extraordinary!" the actor shared.
