Vivek Agnihotri Slams KJo For Trying To 'Kill' Anushka Sharma's Career As Old Video Resurfaces
Karan Johar has been slammed by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri over trying to sabotage Anushka Sharma's career in her initial days in Bollywood.
An old video of Karan Johar in which he confesses that he once 'almost sabotaged' Anushka Sharma's career in the industry recently surfaced on the internet.
The filmmaker said that he had asked Aditya Chopra not to cast the heroine opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Rab ne Bana Di Jodi,' which later turned out ti be a super hit at the box office.
The video has been doing rounds on the internet and now his industry colleague and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has reacted to it.
Not just Vivek Agnihotri, many have expressed rage over Karan's confession as the old video resurfaced on Reddit. Film editor Apurva Asrani also criticized Karan Johar over his old remark.
Taking to Twitter Vivek Agnihotri wrote, "Someone¡¯s only hobby is to make or break careers. If Bollywood is in gutter, it¡¯s because of some people¡¯s dirty ¡®backroom¡¯ politics against talented outsiders.¡±

On the other hand, sharing the old video of Karan Johar sitting beside Anushka Sharma when he makes the confession Apurva Asrani wrote on twitter, "I totally wanted to murder Anushka Sharma's career' - Karan Johar confesses to Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra in 2016.
