Shreya Ghoshal recently acknowledged that she is embarrassed by the "raunchy" dance song Chikni Chameli from the movie Agneepath. She shared in an interview that she didn't want to be a part of that kind of music industry history. According to her, there is a very thin line between being seductive and sexual and just being out there objectifying oneself.

Ghoshal acknowledged feeling ashamed when she recalled times when kids as young as five or six had performed Chikni Chameli in front of her. She underlined that it doesn't seem suitable for such young audiences and that she has consequently been more aware of the music she chooses to listen to.
