Will Smith earned $2 million (approximately Rs. 164 million) for the first 'Bad Boys' film. He and Martin Lawrence have helped the franchise reach this billion-dollar milestone. Smith¡¯s other billion-dollar movie was 'Aladdin,' which made over $1.05 billion (approximately Rs. 86.1 billion) in 2019. Before that, the 'Men in Black' movies were his top-grossing franchise.
After the Oscar slap incident, Smith's return to movies with Martin Lawrence has been a big success. Despite the controversy and his ban from the Oscars, fans have shown strong support for Smith, filling theatres for his latest movie.

Smith's salary has increased significantly over the 'Bad Boys' series. He made $39 million (approximately Rs. 3.2 billion) for the first three movies: $2 million (approximately Rs. 164 million) for the first film, $20 million (approximately Rs. 1.6 billion) for the sequel, and $17 million (approximately Rs. 1.4 billion) for the third film after a long gap between releases.
For 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die,' Smith earned $25 million (approximately Rs. 2 billion), which is approximately 47% higher than his salary for the third film. This brings his total earnings from the franchise to $64 million (approximately Rs. 5.2 billion). Martin Lawrence, who made $6 million (approximately Rs. 492 million) for the first film and less than Smith for the sequels, has earned $32 million (approximately Rs. 2.6 billion) from the first three movies. His salary for the fourth film has not been disclosed.
