Khakee: The Bengal Chapter: Legendary former India captain Sourav Ganguly is expected to make his acting debut for Netflix's Khaki 2, if speculations are to be believed. Ganguly has already been on television in a number of commercials and on his game program, Dadagiri. There has been a lot of excitement over Ganguly's involvement in the initiative, especially among fans of cricket. A member of the media questioned Neeraj Pandey about the long-running rumours about Sourav's involvement in the crime-drama and here's what he said.

During the trailer launch Neeraj was asked about Sourav and he replied, "As far as Sourav is concerned... keep looking."

As per India today, he will be taking on the acting route for Khaki in an advertisement. According to the media outlet and other sources, Ganguly filmed the commercial at Baruipur's Binodini Studio. His involvement in the series has been speculated about after pictures of him wearing a khaki uniform went viral.

Neeraj Pandey is the creator of the series, which is produced by Friday Storytellers and directed by Tushar Kanti Ray and Debatma Mandal.
Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, which is set in the early 2000s, follows IPS officer Arjun Maitra as he examines the power relationships between politicians and gangsters who used to operate without fear of repercussion. In an unjust system tainted by corruption and shifting allegiances, Maitra battles fearlessly and resolutely to preserve justice.
