Year Ender 2024: Top tax-paying Indian celebrities, Shah Rukh Khan leads the way!

The last month of the year has started today, and here we are with the list of Indian celebrities who outshined others this year. Celebrities in India usually outshine others when it comes to income tax contributions. As per a latest report by Fortune India, Bollywood personalities are dominating the list of top tax-paying people in the country.

As per Fortune India's report, one of the most loved Indian celebs has paid Rs 92 crore in taxes for ths financial year. Here is the list of the top people:

1. Shah Rukh Khan - Rs 92 Crore

Shahrukh Khan, the Indian actor in Hindi cinema who is often referred to as the Baadshah of Bollywood and also King Khan, has appeared in more than 100 movies. As per the reports, this year the superstar has paid Rs 92 crore in taxes. This year the actor reclaimed his position with blockbuster movies like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He shattered box office records and became the top tax-paying Indian celebrity.

2. Thalapathy Vijay - Rs 80 Crore

Tamil superstar Vijay is in the second spot with his tax payments. This year his films Leo and Greatest of All Time were proven blockbusters and collectively earned Rs 623 crore.

3. Salman Khan - Rs 75 Crore

The actor who is known for his steady box office presence, Salman Khan, has secured the third position on the list of top taxpayers this year among Indian celebs. Though the actor's films often get mixed reactions, his brand endorsements and popularity always ensure he stays among the top tax-paying celebs.

4. Amitabh Bachchan - Rs 71 Crore
