Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 11: Vicky Kaushal has arrived in theatres with his biographical drama based on the life and sacrifices of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. This Laxman Utekar directorial had a theatrical release on 14th February and ever since then has had a dream run at the box office. As the film inches closer to the Rs 500 crore mark, here¡¯s how much Chhaava has grossed in total so far.

According to Sacnilk, Chhaava earned Rs 18.5 crore on Day 11 (February 24) - about a 54% drop from its previous day's collection of Rs 40 crore. The India net has now reached Rs 345.25 crore and gross is calculated at Rs 413.35 crore. With an overseas collection of Rs 70 crore, Chhaava¡¯s worldwide total currently stands at Rs 483.35 crore. On Day 12, we¡¯ll have the film in the Rs 500 crore club.

Chhaava¡¯s review

Amid a collection of positive reviews, The Times of India rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°Chhaava¡¯s redeeming factor is its terrific climax. Vicky Kaushal is breathtaking as he exudes Sambhaji Maharaj¡¯s valour and passion for swarajya like it were his second skin. You just wish the film relied on and trusted its story more than Rahman's music, which largely feels out of place.¡±

Chhaava¡¯s cast and crew

Based on the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in key roles. This AR Rahman musical is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and is cinematographed by Saurabh Goswami.
