Daaku Maharaaj box office prediction day 1: Nandamuri Balakrishna¡¯s Daaku Maharaaj, which hit the screens today (January 12), is one of the most talked about Telugu films of the Sankranti season. It has created a buzz among fans as it features the veteran actor in a massy avatar. Moreover, the action thriller marks his first collaboration with Bobby. Given the hype, Daaku Maharaaj is expected to take a good start at the box office.

Daaku Maharaaj set to take a fair start

Balakrishna, one of Tollywood¡¯s biggest mass heroes, is in the limelight because of his latest release Daaku Maharaaj. The action-thriller, which hit the screens today (January 12), is expected to open well at the box office. Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, told India Times that the film is likely to gross between Rs 10 crore and Rs 15 crore on the first day.

¡°The film should be able to do between Rs 10 crore and Rs 15 crore in India on the first day,¡± he said.

Ramesh added that Daaku Maharaaj needs positive word-of-mouth to emerge as a success in the long run as it faces competition from Game Changer. Venkatesh¡¯s Sankranthiki Vasthunam, set to arrive in theatres on January 14, too is expected to be a mighty opponent for Daaku Maharaaj.
