Game Changer box office collection day 2: Ram Charan and Shankar¡¯s Game Changer, which hit the screens on January 10, earned merely Rs 21.5 crore on its second day. This is nearly 58% lower than what it made on the opening day.
Game Changer box office collection day 2: Ram Charan¡¯s Game Changer, one of the biggest films of the year, hit the screens on January 10 and opened to a good response at the box office. The action drama, however, failed to keep the momentum going and witnessed a massive drop on Saturday (January 11). Game Changer is Ram Charan¡¯s first major release after RRR (2022).
Game Changer witnesses a drop
Game Changer, directed by Shankar, opened to terrific response at the domestic box office and made Rs 51 crore (nett) on the first day. It, however, received mixed reviews with critics praising the performances but panning the screenplay.
The mediocre word-of-mouth affected the biggie and it witnessed a massive drop in collections on January 11. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, Game Changer earned only 21.5 crore on its first Saturday. This is nearly 58% lower than what it made on the opening day. The total collection stands at Rs 72.5 crore.
Game Changer needs to witness massive growth today (January 12) to have any chance of emerging as a success. This, however, may not be easy as it is expected to face competition from Balakrishna¡¯s Daaku Maharaaj.
