As per PEOPLE, The Cosby Show actress filed the documents citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for parting ways. Furthermore, she listed their date of separation as October 7, 2020.
The couple announced their separation in January 2022.
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times... A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception... feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," read their statement." And so, we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage."

The Aquaman 2 actor and Lisa had tied the knot on October 7, 2017. They have two children together - a 16-year-old daughter Lola and a 15-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf.
Lisa was previously married to ex-husband Lenny Kravitz. She is a parent to Zoe Kravitz with him. Zoe recently got engaged to actor Channing Tatum.

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, however, share a cordial relationship even after separation.
They both showed support to Bonet's daughter Zo? Kravitz in 2022 at the premiere of her movie The Batman. "We're just so proud," Momoa was quoted as saying at the red carpet event. "It's still family, you know?"
A few days after attending the event, he thanked fans for respecting their family's privicy. He wrote, "So excited for everyone to see @thebatman @zoeisabellakravitz your perfect as cat woman I¡¯m so proud of you. so excited for @snl next week your going to kill it. we had a wonderful time in NYC. mahalo to the fans and press for being generous and giving us space for the children it¡¯s hard enough separating in the public eye. we appreciate the continued privacy through these times aloha j"
