Marvel's Tribute To Chadwick Boseman In 'Black Panther Wakanda Forever' Trailer Makes Fans Emotional
The trailer features a mural of the late actor as Shuri (Letitia Wright) and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) mourn the death of their fallen king.
Wakanda mourning the death of its king and so is the internet. As Marvel unveiled the trailer of 'Black Panther Wakanda Forever', fans were moved to see a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, the star who died of cancer in 2020.
The trailer features a mural of the late actor as Shuri (Letitia Wright) and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) mourn the death of their fallen king. "I am Queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone," Ramonda says in the trailer. Shuri also breaks down in tears on the sand.
During the launch of the trailer, director Ryan Coogler paid a heartfelt tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
He said, "I promise you that I can feel his arm on my shoulder right now... Chad is no longer with us physically, but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride, his culture, and the impact that he made on this industry will be felt forever. We put our love for Chadwick into this film."
Fans are getting emotional.

Chadwick Boseman's death
At the young age of 43, Chadwick Boseman had passed away of cancer. Fans only learnt about his cancer diagnosis after his death as he had kept this fact about his health under wraps. He had been battling cancer for four years before he lost the battle.
A week before his death, he was sure he would beat cancer and shoot for Black Panther 2.
Did you know while he was himself suffering from cancer, he gave hope to two children who were also suffering the deadly disease? This happened during the filming of Black Panther.
"There are two little kids, Ian and Taylor, who recently passed from cancer. And throughout our filming, I was communicating with them, knowing that they were both terminal. And they said to me and their parents, 'They¡¯re trying to hold on until this movie comes,'" Boseman said.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is slated to hit the theatres on Nov 11.
Meanwhile, Marvel Studios has confirmed that the fans will get two more Avengers movies - Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be released in theatres on May 2, 2025 and Nov 7, 2025.
The last time when two movies had released together, there were many deaths of the superheroes. Now that the Marvel has announced that two Avengers movies will be released in a gap fo six months, fans are going berserk.
