Oscar winner and Black Panther actress Lupita Nyong'o flaunts Saree and applies heena on her bald head leaving fans impressed.
In 2014, Lupita Nyong¡¯o became the first Kenyan and Mexican actress to win an Oscar. Not just the Academy Award, Lupita brought home several other big feats for her unforgettable role in 12 Years a Salve. She then starred in several parts of Black Panther making herself register in the minds of global audiences.
Recently Lupita took to Instagram and stunned her fans with a brand new look.
Throwing some ¡®Indianess¡¯ towards our way, Nyong¡¯o donned a pink, lilac, and yellow saree with a sleeveless blouse. She paired it with gold jhumkas and what stood the most of her look was the intricate and beautiful henna design on her bald head. Lupita carried the look for the premiere of Mira Nair¡¯s musical Monsoon Wedding.
She captioned the video, ¡°When we are invited to an Indian wedding, we USE WHAT WE GOT to HONOR & CELEBRATE! #BaldieBrigade Congratulations to the incomparable Mira Nair on the opening of her musical adaptation of the beloved story #monsoonwedding. Now playing at St. Ann's Warehouse.¡±
In a separate post, Lupita shared the story of her head being crowned with Heena.
She shared, ¡°THE STORY OF MY HEAD: I met @hennabysabeen last year at a wedding in Pakistan. She did the #HennaDesign for the bride and I was ASTOUNDED by the INTRICACY and BEAUTY of her work. There was something unique about the way she expressed herself in henna art. And I promised myself, "One day I will have a reason to work with Sabeen."

¡°And then, in the middle of the night, an image SHOT into my mind of a henna design covering my bald head!!! I could do something special and different, to celebrate the culture using the canvas readily available to me! I was so excited by the idea that I could not go back to sleep¡. So the moral of this story is: DARE YOURSELF TO SEEK OUT BEAUTY IN NEW WAYS.¡±
