Writing to his 7.6 million Instagram followers, Johnny Depp posted a compelling and honest statement of how he has been forced to exit the Fantastic Beats franchise, especially after he lost the case to The Sun.
"I wish to let you know that I have been asked to resign by Warner Bros. from my role as Grindelwald in ¡®Fantastic Beasts¡¯ and I have respected and agreed to that request,¡± Johnny wrote Friday on Instagram.
Besides the forced exist from the Harry Potter rip-off show, Depp had a lot more to say and especially how he plans to appeal the judge's verdict on his libel case against the British tabloid.
¡°The surreal judgment of the court in the U.K. will not change my fight, to tell the truth and I confirm that I plan to appeal,¡± Depp continued in his Instagram post. ¡°My resolve remains strong and I intend to prove that the allegations against me are false. My life and career will not be defined by this moment in time.¡±
Fans were supremely upset once Johnny Depp's statement was posted. His most ardent followers were full of support and love for the actor who is clearly going through a tough time in his life.
